Being the wife of a former soldier is something I always cherish. Fortunately for me, I wasn't with my husband during his time in the military. Not saying that as a negative by any means, but I didn't have to worry about him getting deployed or staying safe if he was deployed. I didn't have to wait months for him to come home or wonder if he would be able to see our children grow up. And I commend all of those women and men who carry the weight of the world on their shoulders while their spouse is actively serving our country for our freedom. I always feel such a sense of pride when I meet another paratrooper. With yesterday and today's sessions, the men are both 82nd Airborne like my husband. They voluntarily want to jump out of an airplane!! James is part of that crazy brotherhood and Becki (along with myself) is part of a crazy group of women who marry those brave, strong, badass superheroes.
